Diabetes Prevention Group Coaching
Group facilitation and coaching focused on small groups who want to prevent or delay the development of Type 2 diabetes, (based on the CDC Prevent T2 curriculum) focused on losing weight, getting physically active, healthy eating, and managing stress. Diabetes prevention group coaching gives you the support of others who have pre-diabetes or who are at a high risk of developing diabetes and want to improve their health. This group provides you with a safe space to share your story, challenges, and successes, and to learn how to form healthy habits from one another with supportive coaching and guidance. Sara is a CDC-Trained Lifestyle Coach for the National Diabetes Prevention Program and has served on the Virginia Diabetes Council since 2005.
